Pyogenic granuloma is a vascularized non neoplastic lesion, in the oral cavity, caused by trauma, local irritants or hormonal factors, with higher prevalence women, present more frequently mandible than maxilla. It not associated pus as its name suggests and histologically it resembles an angiomatous lesion rather granulomatous lesion. known variety of names such Crocker Hartzell’s disease, pyogenicum, pediculatum benignum, benign vascular tumor during pregnancy gravidarum Treatment consists removal irritant, if any followed excisional biopsy. This clinical case report presents histopathological characteristics large pyogenic 36-year-old female, who reported to Department Santosh Dental College, Ghaziabad. Intraoral examination revealed mainly tender, sessile, soft consistency measuring approximately 16by 9 mm diameter posterior side maxillary first quadrant. Keeping view anamnesis literature, giant cell were defined diagnostic hypotheses. Excisional biopsy was done specimen sent for evaluation.
